Vision
The Liberty HS Advisory program serves to create an embedded time and place in a student's school day to connect students and staff in a small learning environment.
Purpose
Advisory provides the opportunity to develop strong relationships among students and between students and adults in the school. Advisors support their students' high school experiences, both socially and academically, through regular, planned advisory sessions. The advisory program organizes the high school student population into small groups of students with one teacher so that over the span of four years there will be at least one adult who knows each student well. The activities and discussions that comprise the Liberty HS Advisory program are focused around the high school program, interpersonal and communication skills, personal development, character development, post-graduation plans, and exploring current events in the context of civility.
